We designed a pair of printed advertisements for a woman and LGBTQ+ owned insulation company based in Portland, encouraging homeowners to book their spring and summer jobs early. The goal was to create eye-catching, conversion-focused print pieces that felt warm and approachable rather than purely transactional, while clearly communicating a limited-time 15% off offer.
We built the design around the brand's earthy color palette of deep brown, sage green, and cream, pairing a classic serif display font for headlines with clean sans-serif body text for readability. A scalloped "15% OFF" badge became the visual anchor on both pieces, drawing the eye immediately to the offer. One version used bold typography alone to carry the message, while the other incorporated a candid photo of a team member to add a personal, trustworthy touch. Both layouts kept contact information, social handles, and licensing details clearly organized along the bottom for easy reference. The result was a flexible campaign system that could run as a text-forward or photo-forward piece depending on where it was placed, while staying consistent with the brand's friendly, grounded identity.
